>> Historic Pensacola Village, a complex of unique museums, an intriguing Colonial Archaeological Trail, and furnished houses, overall, the historic village containing twenty-seven properties in the Pensacola National Register Historic District, 11 of which are open to the public, including the T.T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum, a virtual treasure trove of historic artifacts, Americana, and West Florida history.

>> National Museum-Naval Aviation, recognized as one of the world's largest aviation museums, featuring exhibits that capture the human element of the enduring history of Naval air power and the eras in which it served and continues to serve, each representing a chapter of that story - stirring tales of combat actions, scientific discovery, technological achievement, and triumphs of the human spirit, the aircraft on display including and A-1 (AD) Skyraider, an A-4 (A4D) Skyhawk (Blue Angel #1 in Atrium ), a BFC Goshawk and many other aviation models.

Annual Events

The Pensacola Seafood Festival is one of the most expected annual events in Pensacola and one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast, according to the Southeast Tourism Society.

This fun, exciting annual tradition, which has been lasting for more than 30 years now, offers visitors, every year in September, in addition to a wide selection of well-made and delicious seafood dishes, quality entertainment, more than 180 arts and crafts vendors, cooking demonstrations, a 5K run/walk, the Splash Dogs competition, a cost-friendly children’s area, and other fun activities in Pensacola News Journal Pelican Park (Bartram Park). In 2010, the festival is scheduled on September 24 through 26.
