John Tanner State Park, which consists of acres of natural beauty, a beautiful park located 6 miles west of Carrollton, where visitors can enjoy all the recreational outdoor activities there are, including camping, picnicking, miniature golf, volleyball - a recreational haven for water lovers and outdoor enthusiasts looking for boating and fishing opportunities.

The park is known for having the largest sand swimming beach of any Georgia state park and was named after a local businessman who operated the property as a private park from 1954 until 1971.

Oak Mountain Golf Club, a magnificent 18-hole golf course situated amongst beautiful landscaping, dedicated to both amateurs and professionists.

Dunaway Gardens, which can be found in nearby Newnan, a beautiful place to visit ''where history lives and serenity blossoms''. Dunaway Gardens provides an ideal backdrop for beautiful portraits and photographs, and it is often used for weddings. The admission price is $10 for adults and $8 for children.
