The Annual Tallahassee Marathon & Half Marathon, happening in February, is perhaps the premier annual sporting events in Tallahassee, FL.

 

The marathon takes runners though an out-and-back course that starts at FAMU continuing through the city streets of Tallahassee, on a flat and fast course, perfect for first-time marathoners.

 

The 2011 Tallahassee Marathon will be held on February 6, starting at FAMU, and will be celebrating its 37th edition. The 2010 Tallahassee Marathon will be benefiting the American Lung Association of Florida by giving one half of the net proceeds.
