What to see, while visiting San Bernardino? In order to get an idea check out the list below, which contains some of the most popular and appealing attractions in the city.

>> San Bernardino County Museum, the perfect attraction in San Bernardino to visit, in order to find out more about the city's history and culture, the museum featuring exhibits which reveal the history of San Bernardino's area and the greater Southwest, including artifacts from the mountains, valleys, deserts, and rivers of San Bernardino County, as well as an outstanding collection of mounted birds from inland Southern California, both residents and migrants, offered in Land Bird Hall, on the upper level, the museum also offering visitors a series of outdoor exhibits that present the history of mining in the county, with authentic equipment including mine cars, generators, and a head frame. Picnic tables and lawn are also available.

>> Robert V. Fullerton Art Museum, home to a permanent collection which represents various periods and regions, but, focuses on contemporary art, ceramics, and ancient art, including what is considered one of the largest collections of Ancient Egyptian Antiquities west of the Mississippi River.

>> Arrowhead, a natural landmark easily seen near the base of the San Bernardino Mountains, a place which boasts with history and natural beauty. The legend of the Arrowhead comes from the Indians, and goes something like this: ''the Great Spirit had an arrow, which, like the Israelite’s Pillar of File, was to guide them to the spot where they were to live. The Great Spirit having selected the place, fixed the arrow to mark it forever.'' The Arrowhead is 1,115 feet in length and 396 feet in width. Though the outline is so perfect it may appear to be man-made or artificial, the phenomenon is, in fact, natural, and has become, today, one of the most popular attractions in the San Bernardino area.
