Since September 2007, bus service is also offered by MTA, from Staten Island to Bayonne, NJ over the Bayonne Bridge, via the S 89 Bus, allowing passengers to connect to the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail’s 34th St. Station, giving residents a new route to Manhattan from Staten Island – the only route directly into New Jersey from Staten Island via public transportation.

From Newark Liberty International Airport: Head northeast and make a slight left. Merge onto US-1 S/US-9 S, via the ramp to Elizabeth, and take the exit toward I-95/Dowd Ave/North Ave/Elizabeth Seaport/New Jersey Turnpike. Merge onto NJ-81 S and take the I-95 S ramp. Keep right at the fork, to continue toward I-95 S, and merge onto I-95 S. Take exit 13 to merge onto I-278 E, toward Verrazano Bridge/Goethals Bridge and enter New York. Take exit 13, toward Clove Rd/Richmond Rd/Hylan Blvd., and merge onto Milford Drive. Continue onto Clove Road., and turn left to stay on Clove Road. Turn right at Howard Avenue.
