Center Church On the Green - a beautiful and historic church, situated in the heart of the city center of New Haven. While the Crypt may be the most famous aspect of Center Church's building, the church is also blessed with a wide array of beautiful architectural accents, including a Waterford crystal chandelier, a Fisk Pipe Organ, Tiffany stained glass windows, and an impressive collection of silver items. Center Church is a registered New Haven Connecticut Landmark and a congregation of the United Church of Christ.

East Rock Park - which is a ''small'' heaven for outdoor enthusiasts, where they can enjoy recreational activities such as hiking, picnicking, fishing, sledding and swimming, the park also featuring ball fields, basketball fields and football and soccer fields, among many other recreational opportunities.

Eli Whitney Museum - in nearby Hamden, which preserves the site on which Whitney constructed the first American factory in 1798. The Eli Whitney Museum and Workshop was established in 1979 as a not-for-profit historic and educational organization, and offers unique educational programs for students, teachers and families, teaching experiments that are the roots of design and invention.

Shore Line Trolley Museum - which boasts a collection of nearly 100 vintage vehicles as well as artifacts and documents from the trolley era. The Shore Line Trolley Museum has been an important part of the community since its incorporation in 1945 as the Branford Electric Railway Association. A visit to the museum is a multi-sensory voyage into the past, from the moanful growl of the motors, to the smell of the electric arc, to the feel of rattan seats and varnished hardwood detailing.
