Annual Events

The Annual Colorado Balloon Classic is considered to be one of Colorado Springs most popular and expected annual events. The Balloon Classic has been local tradition for 34 years now, and it takes place in Memorial Park, off Pikes Peak Avenue, between Hancock Ave. and Union Blvd., near the shores of Prospect Lake.

 

The event takes place in September and is a delight for adults and children alike, featuring mass ascensions with over 100 colorful balloons. Each year a variety of concessions are available and entertainment is provided during each event.

 

The Balloon Classic is recognized as Colorado's largest Air Show and it is a definitely must for all Colorado Springs visitors.
