Seven Falls, located in South Cheyenne Canyon, 181 feet in seven distinct steps down a solid cliff of pikes peak granite. Crystal clear water from the southern most edges of the Pikes Peak watershed have, over the ages, carved this unique scenic masterpiece in an easily accessed location.

Seven Falls is located just ten minutes from downtown Colorado Springs via Cheyenne Blvd. and is open every day of the year except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, consisting of 146 picturesque acres, home to over 700 animals of every variety. Scaly, furry and feathered. Striped, spotted and spectacled. Hopping, strutting and slithering. They're all exotic, and they're all here for you to visit.

The Zoo also has exciting attractions you won't want to miss. Fly over the Zoo on the Mountaineer Sky Ride to watch the sunset atop Cheyenne Mountain. With its oversized garden and petting zoo, kids will love My Big Backyard. And no trip to the Pikes Peak Region is complete without a visit to the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun.

Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site, an educational, non-profit living history farm and museum, which depicts life in the Pikes Peak region in four time periods: American Indian area in 1775, 1860's Galloway Homestead, 1880's Chambers Home and Ranch and 1907 Edwardian Country Estate.

Annual Events

The Annual Colorado Balloon Classic is considered to be one of Colorado Springs most popular and expected annual events. The Balloon Classic has been local tradition for 34 years now, and it takes place in Memorial Park, off Pikes Peak Avenue, between Hancock Ave. and Union Blvd., near the shores of Prospect Lake.

The event takes place in September and is a delight for adults and children alike, featuring mass ascensions with over 100 colorful balloons. Each year a variety of concessions are available and entertainment is provided during each event.

The Balloon Classic is recognized as Colorado's largest Air Show and it is a definitely must for all Colorado Springs visitors.
