Thousands of runners participate every year in the Los Angeles Marathon, featuring a 26-mile run through the streets of LA, benefiting numerous non-profit organizations that are dedicated to various causes, including lupus and cancer, organizations such as Wilwoods Foundation and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

 

The NPN Marathon 5K is the official warm-up race, happening before the Marathon, at Dodger Stadium, and everybody can register to participate in the race.
