This fun and entertaining event attracts thousands of runners from more than 15 states, every year, to Jacksonville, offering them a weekends celebration of running and physical fitness, which also represents a tribute to the US military, given through receptions, an expo, press conferences and fun parties.

 

The goal of the event is to strengthen the bond between military communities and civilians, as well as to promote and inform people about the benefits of having an active life, including raising money for various charities. This year, the proceeds from the race will be given to the Freedom Alliance Scholarshop Fund, veteran and local youth leadership charitable organizations.
