- Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, which reveals the amazing story of the world that surrounds us, through interactive exhibits and educational programs, including California's history, the story of the mammals, dinosaurs, lizards, snakes, frogs, fish, exhibits about anthropology, ancient life, insects, birds, and many other interesting and curiosity-arousing displays.

- Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens, home to more than 1,100 mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles representing more than 250 different species of which 29 are endangered, including several planted gardens and over 800 different plant species with over 7,400 individual plants, a popular Los Angeles attraction, which draws not less than 1.5 million visitors per year.

- California Science Center, the West Coast's largest hands-on science center, dedicated to educate visitors of all ages about science through hands-on, interactive experiences, teaching them about human inventions and innovations, the life processes of living things and much, much more.

Among the most favorite exhibits at the museum there is the Creative World, through which people can learn about the inventions and environments humans create to meet their needs for communication, transportation and structures, and the World of Life, which reveals how people, plants, animals and the tiniest living cells all perform the same life processes to survive.
