>> Bidwell Mansion Historic Park, former home of General John Bidwell and Annie Bidwell, a 3-story magnificent Victorian house, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, that reveals the lifestyle of the 1860's residents of Chico.

The interior of the entire mansion can be seen during an hour long tour that starts on the hour most days of the week.

>> Chico Museum, housed in the former Carnegie Library building in downtown Chico, featuring dozens of exhibits which celebrate the distinct heritage of Chico, offering visitors changing exhibits focusing on aspects of Chico’s past and present.

The McIntyre gallery houses the permanent Chico Timeline 1890 – 2000 filled with photos, portraits, and artifacts evoking Chico’s diverse history.

Also in this gallery there is the permanent exhibit, ''Agricultural History of the North Valley featuring Patrick Ranch'', which is an exhibit that tells the tale of the valley and its historical impact on agriculture in the region.

>> Chico Creek Nature Center, the official information center for Bidwell Park, featuring family-friendly, hands-on exhibits which reveal the beauty of nature, displaying for visitors grasslands, vernal pools, foothill woodlands and riparian corridors, the park also containing the Upper Park Trails, which are among the park's most favorite highlights.

>> Chico Air Museum, which boasts with aviation history, an interesting museum that offers an outdoor aircraft display, as well as an indoor display of interesting and historic aviation artifacts. The Museum is open every Saturday from 10 am until 4 pm, or by appointment.
