- Belair Mansion, which represents a piece of the city's earliest history, a beautiful five-part Georgian plantation, house of Samuel Ogle, Provincial Governor of Maryland. The Mansion was also the home of William Woodward, famous horseman in the first half of the 20th century. Restored to reflect is 250-year old legacy, the Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

- Allen Pond Park, one of the city's most popular parks, an 85-acre multi-use park which includes an Ice Arena, Amphitheater, boat rentals, Skate Park, 10-acre stocked pond, 6 lighted ballfields, picnic areas and pavilions, walking and biking trails, lighted basketball court, fitness station and several playground areas.

- Radio & Television Museum, home to an extensive collection of old radio and TV literature and radio and television artifacts.

- Huntington Railroad Museum, which hosts several displays featuring Bowie's railroad history, including artifacts and photographs. The museum is owned by the municipal government and is located in the Bowie railroad station.

Annual Events

Bowie's International Festival is considered a ''must'' for all of the city's visitors. This fun celebration is held each fall, on the 1st Saturday, in October, and features all kinds of family-friendly entertaining activites.

The festival brings people together for a day of exploring traditions from many countries and cultures, each year. During this exciting event, enthusiasts experience the world in a day through music and dance, food and international crafters.
