Aurora is served by Metra trains and PACE buses, and Greyhound buses also stop at the Aurora Transportation Center.

 

The city does not currently have a stop for Amtrak trains, the station being closed in the 1980's, but it has a stop at the Rt. 59 station on the BNSF Line. It is the final stop of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe line of the Metra commuter rail system, allowing rail service into Chicago.

Merge onto I-294 S and take the Interstate 88 West E-W Tollway exit, toward Aurora. Merge onto I-88 W and take the IL-31 exit toward Aurora/Batavia. Turn right at IL-31 S/S Lincolnway St and again at Sullivan Rd. Take the 2nd left onto N Highland Avenue and turn right at Prairie St. Turn right at Prairie St and take the 1st left onto Kenilworth Pl. Aurora University will be on the right.
