Have fun at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex, which can be found on Cherry Lane, a beautiful 18-hole golf course that features beautiful green surroundings.

 

Spend a wonderful day out in the nature with the family at Prophetstown State Park, the state's newest park, on Indiana 225, near the town of Battle Ground, home to the Museum at Prophetstown, which recreates a Native American village and a farm from the 1920's.

 

Visit the amazingly beautiful Celery Bog Nature Area, on W. Navajo Street, featuring 195 acres of beautiful surroundings, including 4 miles of wooden trails, 2 viewing decks, more than 4 miles of paved trail, and much, much more.

 

Sports & outdoor events

From the 28th to the 31st of May, in 2010, Purdue University, in West Lafayette, will be hosting the Midwest Games, which is an annual sporting conference that gathers Malaysian students from the Midwest since 1970.

 

It is considered to be the most expected event for Malaysian from across USA, this year, more than 700 students being expected to attend at the event, which features dinner, a cultural show and sports (including basketball, soccer, badminton and volleyball).

 

The Midwest Night will wrap off the event, with entertaining showcases and performances, including performances given by Hujan, which is a famous Malaysian band that will be making a tour around USA, this summer.
