Chewacla State Park. The 696-acre park contains various hiking and biking trails. Visitors can also find here a 26-acre lake, where they can swim or fish. The Auburn City Fest is an annual event held in Auburn, Alabama and for the last decade, it has been entertaining visitors with canine acrobatic shows, given by the Bama Air Dogs from Ashville, under the close attention of Gary Shockley, a famous canine trainer. The disc-catching dogs keep the crowds on their feet during their performance and their show is always a pleasant surprise for people. They won the Canine Disc Championship two times and they are the winners of the United States Disc Dog National Championship.

On the last week-end in April, Auburn City Fest brings fun and excitement to Kiesel Park, including music, arts and children activities.

 

 

Nightlife

 

Visitors do not consider the nightlife in Auburn as being a captivating one, but the aspect doesn't seem to stop the students going out. Tigris, located at 129 N College Street, is one of the few clubs in Auburn were youngsters come to dance and participate in the all-night parties held here. In the downtown area, there are mainly similar bars, according to previous visitors, and a small part of them are serving students under 21.
