- At 300 Gates Avenue, in Huntsville, tourists can visit Weeden House Museum, originally built around 1819 by Henry C. Bradford. It is today owned by the City of Huntsville, and it is open to the public as a house museum since 1981.

The Longhorn World Championship Rodeo is a festival when people have a great time with friends or family. It is held at Huntsville's Von Braun Civic Center Arena, every year in March, creating a show with cowboys and girls hanging on the back of Longhorn bulls. The festival dates from 1964, when Jack Lynn decided to try riding wild horses on his parents' small farm. The cost of the event starts from $14 and could go up to $28.

   When the sun goes down, the other face of Huntsville is being revealed. The neighborhood bars and pubs are great for making new friends, while you sit back and relax at the bar, enjoying a glass of cold beer or a delicious classic Martini.

 

 

   For live music six nights a week, tourists and visitors should choose Humphrey's, located at 103 Washington St. For great time with friends, perhaps the Mason's Pub is a better choice to have a beer, and play some pool, or watch a football game on of the flat screens in the walls. It is open seven days a week and offers a long list of beer types.
